Blind Acceptance
The target of ridicule for being too open, Years broken down for my feelings outspoken, Labels always trying to distract my heart, To keep me from sharing, to tear me apart, Acceptance always wants a mirror of itself, Any difference of opinion will be completely thrown out, You must fit their ideals or you become an emarrassment, Their egos speak multitudes..their silence is arrogant, Their thoughts ring louder than the sound of my voice, That is worse than speaking out to see perspective of choice, So pardon me if the cats got your tongue, Because the world has stolen your vision and has kept you from.... Speaking truth, seeing beneath the surface, Not many take the time to care enough to do this, So while you label and laugh and seek acceptance in your silence, Your robotic misery shines in the madness, Walking around with your head held high, Believing everything you see without really opening your eyes.
