Is the Universe a Time Machine
With awe I gaze the stars joined by Jupiter, moon and mars, amongst a billion flickering lights and the Milky Way, Oh so bright! But we are but a mode of dust to quote Carl Sagan, as I must, suspended in a sunbeam going nowhere as it seems. Distant planets I see in their past because light travels so fast, a million years might pass us by for so many planets to die. And so the fact is cast, by observing planets in their past distant planets might also view Earth maybe as it was during our birth. A distant planet could be viewing us a thousand years ago, because the light takes so long travel our past they could unravel. Therefore, the universe itself could be a time machine, what else that no matter where you are in space you’ll view a past in every different place.
