Girls don't understand why I'm shut off in person even though I show my whole heart when I write My life has been full of nightmares maybe that's why I have empty dreams I never fitted in, like Nicki Minaj or Kim Kardashian trying to put on skinny jeans Typical of me to put a humorous line in a sad poem Thinking back to when I was numb, maybe it was better when I never had emotions Monsters in my head, but I survived them all as a man, when it comes to pain and emotions I've been made to feel I should hide it all But telling me how to act and what to do, never goes well The world could be my home, but I treat it more like a hotel My emotions made me write some sad boy poetry I was able to write about things that I usually avoid emotionally Good times are ahead and some things I will be able to enjoy hopefully But until they come, I'll keep writing my sad boy poetry
