I see the tears, I hear the rain, And I’m left, simply saying, As my mind interprets, “What’s it like to breathe the same?” Am I the only one to blame? Where am I going, from light to black, Or back inside, this sleeping bag? This train has stopped, on a landing of track, That heats up like fire, As the whistle shrills, “Come back!” So the turns ended here, like a vessel of fear, That creates destruction, from year to year. So I work the range, trying to bring change, That my ways be not the same, until we meet again. This one-way journey, I’m in for the long haul. I cannot rest, until I’ve sorted through this sordid fall. Tear at my soul, tug, push, and pull, until I’ve got control, Over that which I wish I did not know, Until it’s over, to be renewed, and uncovered whole. The days are numbered, I’m in a race way of haze. The further I go, the distance grows both ways. It’s at the end, that I begin my course to regain. To work with all the gathered, that still remains. The vistas will then broaden, as I return again, This time to be much more expansive, From this mind shattering train. Now I know the purposes, why I became insane. I am now much greater, stronger, wiser, and still remain. I am refined.
