Catastrophe
Billy was a burglar, of the feline type, he'd pussyfoot around at night to see what he could swipe. But one day he felt the pinch, if you'll excuse the pun, for the local coppers had a blitz on crime begun. I'll have to try in the next town our Bill was heard to say, and so next night upon his bike he pedalled on his way. Soon the next town came in sight, much to his relief, for the cycle seat had made his bum sore beyond belief. When Billy had a scout around a high brick wall he spied, "Aha!" our hero whispered "I bet a big house lies inside". But lacking local knowledge he didn't have a clue, that the wall that he was looking at enclosed the local zoo. So when he saw a sign he thought "I'm having none of that" For on white in big red letters it said "BEWARE THE CAT". Then up the wall our Billy climbed in his usual feline manner, But when he got down the other side fate threw in a spanner. 'Cos Billy in his ignorance had put himself in jeopardy, For the cat the sign referred to turned out to be quite leopardy. Billy turned and squealed and shot back up the wall real fast, but not before the leopard tore the trousers off his a**e. Then Billy had to cycle home with shirt tales flapping in the wind, Thinking to himself how fate could be so darn unkind. But when he neared home fickle fate gave his night some closure, 'cos the coppers done him not for theft, but indecent exposure.
