Goodbye To You
Tonight I say goodbye, but yet not forever. Maybe in another life we will be together. I'm losing all feeling I cant see the ground. I'm at the very edge now looking so far down. I cant see the bottom, in my tears I drown. If I could've said the words, I could've got it right. I would've done better, Id have won the fight. I asked god to help me, asked him to be there. To help me understand why you weren't there. I asked for his forgiveness for all my filthy sins. To walk with me together, until this pain ends. No response I've gotten, not a word of grace. I walk this world, with my sins upon my face. Yet Ive made it here, I've made it this far. With this broken heart, and fierce emotional scars. Good bye to you, to all of my pain. Im leaving this world never coming back again.
