Quirked
At times, my touch on my own skin is will- o – wisp – y, for it feels like something strange resides within. I’m in Oz but can’t click my heels. This “ghost” in me just wants to stay. When I’m at rest, often it reels! I’m not “high,” nor am I crazy. A drug prescribed, though, is to blame I know why my strange quirks haunt me. A victim of Big Pharma’s game, I’ve taken myself off their crap. Six months have passed; I’m still the same. No lining has my mouth! Like sap, bad taste upon my lips is stuck. Big Pharma, ‘fess up! Take the rap. My bottom lip I need to suck. Expect to see me chewing gum. I float when I walk! W T F?? Thanks to my Doc (the big fat bum) I can’t help sometimes feeling glum. 4/22/2019 for Nina Parmenter's Quirky Tercets Poetry Contest
