The Burden of a King
Ah, for a King`s burden. The king of Norway sat in his bathroom cleaning his fingernails not for him to go see a manicurist he might have more money than me, but is modest about his inheritance He had a shower looked in the mirror: am I fat? thinking of taking up cycling, but thought walking all the corridors in his castle would suffice If outside people stopped and stared The king hated small talk but after breakfast an ambassador who would visit presents his credential, say things like: Norway is a beautiful country The king signed documents but wanted to watch TV. The queen came in reminding him to change as there was a great ball in the evening, he hated it “can`t you say I`m ill?” the queen wouldn’t hear of it She had been at the hairdresser, she liked festivities.
