My Farewell To What Was
Stuck in this rut, not where I want you to see me Stuck in this rut, what is going to free me? Our love was abundant, overflowing and true I'm supposed to be with you, to help pull you through It happened so fast, no warning at all Disgusting, Mad, Hatred, Grief, Love, Laughing and Happiness I watched it all, ing fall! Two sides to our story, its no fairy tale Each day a bit better, I'm still hoping we preveil It happened to her, a piece of you It affected us all, and I'm hurting too I'm here for you always, as much as you need What was, is now over, I'll follow your lead Love hurts is the saying, I believe it to be true It hurts and it stings, but I still ing want you Have patience for me, as I've had for you My mind understands, but my heart cant comprehend The feeling you have, with time, it will mend So many things, I wish I could say Such a jumbled up mess I'd have no idea how to convey Goodbye to the old, Im embracing the new Im letting it go The you I once Knew.... Missing you, and loving you....so hard to do
