The Muse of My Angel
Her muse ran through my bones and I knew I was healed. I imagine her soul reaching heights beyond measure and I am forever lost in memories that transpire into the sound of her laughter- (giggles from heaven) The angels danced the day she was born- They praised her beauty as if she was one of their own. and that is who she is now… my angel on high. Cherry blossoms bloomed with insight when she wrote poetry. They were astounded by her metaphors and swayed gently in the warm July breeze when she sang in syllables of love. ~the month of her birthday~ Heaven’s glory saw the beauty in her words; for it was God who gave her such a gift, after all- As the glory of heaven whispered affection to her, she felt the ease of God’s mercy awakening her soul. Genuine faith was worn on her sleeve and hope enveloped her essence. Although she is gone, I am encompassed in warm memories, forever knowing she was a reflection of what I needed most- perpetual friendship. Her journals full of daily entries of love and loss and my journal full of...well... her memory. For the angels danced the day she was born... and they sang her songs when they welcomed her home. *This is about my sister who was so great at writing. Short stories and of course poetry. I found a poem she wrote to her wife and it made me cry so hard. When she died I knew not I would carry on her destiny of writing, but I have embraced my words as if they were hers too.
