Girlie
I try too hard sometimes, I realize this. I drove all the way to my Girlfriend’s place of work To tell her I had texted her A new poem, but to not Read the first one because I edited it. So I sent her The revised one. I was So excited to share what I had written, so excited To share the right one. More important things Can be found in life. More Important things should Hold my attention. Maybe There are more important Things, but the most Important thing to me is Getting to see the girl I’m Falling more and more in Love with. And I cannot Wait to show her this Someday. I cannot wait. Not soon enough. My Excitement may get the Better of me, she may see This soon. So, a message: I hope that, forever, I will Keep a smile on your face, And that even in my, say, Bothersome times, I will Still make evident the best In my intentions, and I Never want you to leave My side, girlie.
