I Only Tell of Sunny Hours
I only tell of sunny hours... without her rays heed groans and glowers She is my essence and like the flowers her rays are food my soul devours Her warmth and light all I desire I sparkle and shine like a flawless sapphire Displaying the time as lovers pass by in their own little world; a twinkle in their eye Her rays always bring a smile to my dial My gift shared with creatures who ponder a while On this a beautiful God given day I await her exquisite morning display As gently a breeze blows sleep from my eyes Majestically my Goddess lights up her morning skies My paramour whom I adore without her I could tell no more of only sunny hours 9th February 2019 Contest: Sundial Wisdom Sponsor: Julie Ward Contest: February Wk 4 Sponsor: Brian Strand 1st place
