The Deal
The Deal (The current attitude seems to be) Written: by a Tea Party conservative January 2015 We live in a time when sacrificing for man’s common good is gone, The attitude seems to be, get all you can as long as it’s free. Sit on your rear, sell a few drugs, have a few more babies, Cut a little firewood and collect your disability bone, That the government will provide during its spending spree. Don’t do for self, let wealth redistribution do it for you, For after all you’re entitled to the same as your neighbor, Is it fair that he goes to work, and nicer things will accrue, God forbid that you’d have to resort to doing manual labor. So as long as you, the politician, keep providing for me, Then I, the voter, will continue casting my vote for you. As dumb sheep we’ve been programmed and no longer see, That on us, the government, continues tightening the screw.
