Cottage Udora
We met at our ministers cottage, Became friends and conversationalists. The cottage was very scenic, A beautiful glass structure, furnished and comfortable. They had a beautiful bench outside where you could sit, I met a handsome friend there. We had a delicious lunch together, He was visiting from North Dakota, United States of America. I didn't fall in love with him we were just friends, His father was a minister and colleague of our minister. There was a beautiful stream outside the cottage, very scenic, You could hear the rippling of the brook and stream. I cherished the time we had together, You could hike on the property. He went back to the United States, I never quite forgot him what a beautiful day we had. Good memories stay with you forever, I think did he become a minister like his father and marry. The miracle of seeing him again would guest. Perhaps they will have a reunion, the beautiful church stands, I painted a picture of our church, a friend for over fifty years. I was a Sunday School superintendent with my friend and taught Sunday school. I will always remember these days. Friends are a blessing from God. Author: Gwen von Erlach Schutz.
