I decided I would hide my hot pink nightie, and my rainbow feathered boa. Lulu and Mumu were my bear cousins from Arkansas, adopted by my Aunt Fran Harmless except they loved pretending they were divas. Last year they dragged everything out of my closet And I mean everything But did anyone stay to help me clean up? Of course not. After school on Tuesday I came home to see Arkansas plates in our driveway. My heart beat louder than a marching band. Lulu bear greeted me with a huge hug. She was wearing my hot pink nightie and it was ripped down the side now. Mumu slid down the bannister; she had tightened my boa around her head She looked like a 300 pound hippie, and she had ripped the arms out of my jacket. We blew air kisses to each other Actually, I had so much fun dressing them up I forgot about the mess. They tried on all but five things in my closet. It was great to see them preening and laughing. I told them not to worry about the mess as we hugged good-bye. Great visit, huh? I asked Grandpa. We sent them with a cooler full of fish for the road after lots of bear hugs. This year we had videotaped everything with our cell phones. Best visit ever!
