Someday
Ever felt the deck was stacked Or if some left they wouldn't be back Ever took a chance knowing theres no way Or left in a hurry but wanted to stay Have you ever said yes but should of said no Ever asked why not wanting to know Had money in hand to pay that bill But spent it on something and haven't paid it still Theres a lot of people like me and maybe you Whose dreams have dissolved and have to begin anew While change comes hard to an old man like me I know putting my life in order is the frist key And all the dicisions that I make Whether well planed or just a mistake Are part of the experience I must go through To earn my wings and pay my dues Love, security and peace of mind Seem to be the hardest for me to find But they'll come to me I know in time Allowing my true colors to brilliantly shine
