Words From the Grave
I'm so lost I've been searching for a maze My wounds need a nurse and first aid I've been trying to control the hurt and the rage But now I'm killing off my feelings so these are my words from the grave Don't approach me as I'm going to open my heart for a quick moment I don't show fear, but the world is a tough opponent I've held it on my shoulders, but now we'll see if it can hold my weight I'll beat any obstacle and I won't allow anyone else to control my faith My biological sperm doner died when I was 14 but I had no time for crying That was a special moment where a kitten transformed into a lion Giving up and suicide were in my options, But I didn't Once someone hurts you, you'll start to feel that hug different I don't care what you think of me Speak amongst yourselves and leave me to have this drink in peace Dear bartender I don't wish to talk you're not a link for me Depression had me caged for a while but now I'm on the brink of free Once I get there, there's no going back Every scar of mine has a poem attached To some these are just words on a page But this is me killing off my feelings so these are my words from the grave
