"stay in the lines ..just remember..stay in the lines" We sit there for a while, minutes turn to hours and we are finally finished He tears it out and tapes it on the wall, next to the television Glancing at me, he nods approvingly I nod back equally as approved of his skill We continue watching tv and glance at our masterpiece now and again But now, Now I stare, remembering the proud look of achievement, of honor that I received from my grandpa so long ago Now I always nod proudly, now I always remember that there is something to be proud of, Now I am am never, never ashamed
