It tried to show resilience to the damages, But being an empath has its disadvantages, So there was still fresh blood, seeping through the bandages. Instantly, I felt a deep painful compassion, How could I have been responsible for such non-compassionate action? For forgiveness I asked, as I fell to my knees, And as I wrapped my arms around it, I softly said, “Please!” It hugged me back tighter and into a full fledged scream I nearly burst, And more so, when it softly said, “Before I have forgiven others, I have always forgiven you first.”
