I wish I could talk to the little boy who is still hidden within, he has been afraid to come out ever since his father touched him in sin. I wish I could tell him he is not to blame for the tears we've shed, I wish I could tell him he has nothing to fear because the invader is dead. I'm learning to deal with my feelings and I'm confronting my fears, my eye's now see clearly because I've washed them with tears. I hope little teddy understands its time to share the guilt and pain, the time has come to cross the bridge and release the hurt and shame. I'm starting to open my heart and have integrity and pride, today the mirror isn't a sad place to look because I'm finally taking a look inside.
