Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required I write for all of the broken hearts that are beating Use my poetry as a bandage for your scars that are bleeding from my heart is where my words are spoken from I write my words with love and hope to heal the broken ones I used to hide my emotions but now I have no issues admitting I'm vulnerable and fragile I was so broken, to get to real laughter I had to walk around with a sad smile I hated my parents for putting me in foster care until I learned to love myself My mental health was ignored by doctors because my body was in good health my confidence was low at school so I didn't speak much But I was the best at football and the other kids couldn't keep up sadly I was one to focus on my weaknesses instead of strengths But when you've crashed numerous times you're expected to have dents Depression beat me down so much that sometimes I didn't have the strength to get out of bed it would tear me down, tell me I'm worthless and put illogical thoughts in my head I started to feel like I wasn't good enough for the world Everytime I fought and attacked depression it was me who bled my biological sperm doner died when I was 14,soon after I started self-harming and coping wrong I'm thankful that during my Suicidal thoughts I never found a loaded gun Suicide is never the answer to fix a broken one I found a way to finally stomach what I'd previously been choking on I came through the storm stronger despise the scars and loss of blood I'm thankful I didn't give up, because after the hard times come the good to get through the storm to where you want to be it may take a while But be strong and don't let anyone break your smile The strongest soldiers usually start off as the broken ones I write to inspire and give hope, because I remember when I was the hopeless one God gives the hardest battles to his strongest soldiers so just remember you're the chosen one I speak so honestly and openly because I remember what it was like to be the broken one
