The Ark of the Covenant
Moses built the Ark of the covenant; Instructed by God on how to make it. The tablets of the law were in the chest; As to where other holy items would rest. The ark was lead by God through a wilderness; To find a home for God's chosen children. God prepared the way and was with them; Crossing the Jordan and cleansing them. After the miracle of Joshua's long day; When God slowed the earth for a whole day. The philistines filthy hands touched the ark; God plagued them for their act of unholy art. King David brought the ark to Jerusalem; Where it was safe in the Temple of Solomon. Pigs of war trampled over the temple; The Dome of the rock replaced it like a pimple. Some say that the ark is underneath the dome; I say that the ark is at God's heavenly throne.
