Corona Fears
Smoldering reflections of a scarlet moon, wearing a crimson half-smile ... silhouette rest on the rose-embroidered kimono, draping your naked anxiety Thorns on the other side of the pillow — lonely fears of a union dissolving, pierce through the silvery sob dreams Shivering cold thoughts, coming from eyelids closed, are silently screaming for the laminated cover of the pages to be turned Lately, being warmed by artificial heat is so unsatisfying You can feel it everyday ... the real passion slowly dying Dwindling away are the fiery, loving memories, drenched by the crying Corona fears ... Moist hope flying into the sun These singed Icarus years, has marred your soul No makeup sessions can hide what the hurt has done to you mentally The mirror reveals nightly, the hideous toll on your face physically Cold-cream snowflake dreams mask the wrinkled, waking uncertainty Oh, how you long to feel the heat once more on your frigid body The passion of love’s flames consuming you with sweaty pleasure Melting the corona fears away ... You would gladly disrobe your tears, and dive into in the pooling, cooling wax of this brief, candlelight joy As wet kisses of sultry desire disappear into the fireplace, heart ablaze Suffering in such intense ecstasy, embraced by warm bliss You would love to feel the dying glow blowing out the door this way Even if the sweet taste of this succulent, ember memory is a parting gift — grief-wrapped for an attic berth day
