Awake
I wake up in the middle of the night, Only to see, Lays beside me, Loneliness, Depression and Anxiety. I try to sleep again, Only to experience, My darkest fears, And all my pain. I try to close my eyes for a while, Trying to be calm and peaceful, Thinking about happiness, And the days colourful. All I am left with, A pillow under my head, Though I breathe, Yet I feel dead. Little later I experience tears sliding down, Tearing me apart and pulling me down, Leaving me in a puddle of tears, A wet pillow and a heart fully pierced. During the daylight, I scream in my room, During the night, I hear my soul shrieking in my room. I try to not deal with violence, I hear loneliness whispering in silence, I see myself burning down, Feeling myself breaking down. I try to relieve cherishable memories, All I'm left with a hitting-hard reality.
