Medieval Knight
Check your boots are the door, With a smile come right in. You look worn from your travels, Where did this adventure begin? He spoke about his birthplace, Where he defended with pride, How he left behind a sister, Who’s soul left him when she died. There was a mother who loved him, But his father was gone, That is why he wears his shield with honor, Because that same blade won’t get getting him. The sensitive side around him, Left shortly after birth, His son and beloved wife, Both fell victim under strife. He walks these grounds around him, Looking for an end to his loosing battle, Speaking to those who will listen, Before wishing them a farewell. Living with the torment, To roam this earth alone, Speaking to the mind of a knight, Leaves glory and sorrow alike.
