Shush Did You Hear That
Tom, Dick and Harry all walked in a line as they wove through the jungle's tall trees, The sounds from above sent shivers down their spines but they all felt safe walking in threes. 'Shush...did you hear that?' whispered Tom from the back, 'something snapped in that undergrowth thick', 'Just a tree' said Harry,'with a branch breaking off ' ' Even trees must get old ', snorted Dick. As they trudged off ahead 'Did you hear that?' Dick said, ' like a rumble, it seemed very close' 'Just a storm' , Harry chirped, 'quite far off, it won't hurt, jungles get lots of them, I suppose' Later on, far ahead 'did you hear that?' Harry said, 'like a roar, and it sounded REAL close!', no reply, wondered why, turned around, they were gone- and the Tiger's breath tickled his nose.
