Explaining the Season
Explaining The Season By Charles G. P. Chard 2nd Chevra Gavri Hanita Hazaka Abir Selek 2nd From the prophecies of Malachi, Micah, and Isaiah’s books, Told of a child to be born in Bethlehem by a virgin, Beyond all explanation and so it looked, For moreover past all belief a virgin did indeed bare a son, Wonderful, counselor, Holy One, They named Him Yeshua as the angel had said, However, King Herod was out for that boy’s head, He commanded his soldiers, all children two years and younger must die, An angel warned Joseph and Mary to leave now under that night’s sky, Before the attack and slaughter of innocent babies, They did want the angel had said at once no doubts, no maybes For the prophet once said,” I call my son forth from Egypt”, By this time, they were more equipped, They moved to the town of Nazareth, Where the boy was raised as a carpenter’s smith, It all started by a boy of twelve, standing before the Elders, Who thought his wisdom was beyond even the Elders, These stories are from a book that is very well known, The kind of book each Christian calls their own, This is the story of Christmas Day, About a virgin birth, the Son of GOD here on earth, It is a tale of bravery; it’s a tale of a dearth, Therefore, the Christian knows what this season is all about. Belief conquers even the worst doubt.
