Permanent Sleep
Pain, heartache, heart impaled Blood, blood runs through my veins Hot, red cascades, flows without restrains Pulsating deep inside, tick tock beats like a drum Rhythm, rhythm, eyes opened wide Thought you were one I could confide Knife in your hand, stabs deep Wolf pretending to be sheep Why couldn’t I see it? Not even a little peep? Mercy lord, she wants to put me to sleep Permanently, six foot deep She’s a mercenary and a creep Thinking life's dirt cheap Lord, please don’t let me die in this dump heap Please let me stretch out in my Jeep The Only sweet words came from down deep, Is, what she sows she will reap Then permanently I fell asleep This piece is about a rich man falling in love with a woman, a mercenary who wanted everything but his heart. She pretended for a while but eventually murdered him and took over all his earthly possessions.
