Writers Block
Want to write but the words won't come A part of me has become numb From heaps of troubles and problems galore It just seems I cannot write anymore Challenges pounding me into the ground Life can really get you down Fortunes can help to lift you up But there aren't enough to fill a cup I want so much to feel light again But all I can do is to keep asking when I pray and hope and try to trust But that's not so easy when we are but dust Maybe one day the sun will shine bright But for now, there is this internal light I really do not know what our future will be One day at a time, and I will see Please help me to keep faith and stay strong Do not allow this to take too long I need to find my way back home Please don't let this be fixed in stone Though we are but dust, we all feed on the search for comfort that we all need I haven't a clue as to how But please, God, let it be now
