Is This Heaven...
Allow me to experience you For your true beauty escapes Them so I’ll close my eyes And inhale your spirit my Hand to brush a rogue strand From your face maybe graze A cheek my head rests upon your Chest heart to dance with yours mine Yearn to sip the nectar hiding Behind your lips a kiss between Strangers no longer but I’ll settle For a hand or even your foot Splashing puddles your eyes hiding Twin five year olds behind shy Lashes mimic the flow of your Mother’s skirt I could gaze past Forever into you cause time stops When you smile so my pulse Drops and I cry pajama bottom Tears blanket covered fears warm My feet spelt S-o-u-l then tomorrow Awakens can I hold you again while You sigh dreaming of gummy bears And first time bed breakfasts still Can’t bear to stop myself so I’ll Continue to stare save me from them The Fates float about my string with Their shears it’s easy to see into me I’m Sheer emotions on a sleeve my badges Of honour from battles lost long healed Scars begin to ache tell me again why Every morning can’t be like this with My lips conversing with your neck the Stories we tell they're flashbacks in Your eyes feel memories in your kiss Tomorrow's minutes tick when you Touch my face am I still alive or is this Heaven…
