Lost Horizons
‘Lost Horizons’ Green eyes, blue eyes, hazel or brown True love is much deeper than an iris profound Yet I look in your eyes as a sun set, or rise So much can be spoken, when two souls decide that words are not needed, to express what is real To lose, the horizon, is to find, only teal As a sailor at sea, would take down his sails for he, had found heaven, but in heaven; betrayal On earth, as in heaven, nature tests; each, our love Though the truth, may be found only God is enough to withstand the storms; we have raging within To find our true meaning To repent, all our sins As a sailor on the beach, washes up from the sea I am searching my soul, To know the real me Green eyes, blue eyes, hazel or brown I must first love myself Before true love, is found 18 July, 2018
