Who Told You I Was Ready
I didn't tell my mother he was a friend of the family. I didn't tell you to come into my room, who told you I was ready. I see his smile looking at me from across the room. I guess this is something all little girls have to do, who told you I was ready. I don't want him to touch me down there. But he whispered in my ear don't say a word. If you tell your mother, then you I'll hurt. Who told you I was ready I wonder who did it to him. Because I knew I wasn't his first. He always comes in my room when my mother goes to work. When I finally told my mother the look on her face was so heavy. I thank God it wasn't her that told him I was ready.... I still wonder now, who told him I was ready.
