A Tale of a Lonely Catfish
She was disguised and veiled from the life she once knew, nothing but a catfish pretending to be someone she’s not. Into an undiscovered troll on the internet she grew and when minutes turned into hours she didn’t know who she was; was it really smart to go through with her plot? Falsifying her identity, she was lost inside each book of face, gorgeous pictures that misled who she really was. She was caught by a mediator and she decided to replace the fake pictures with real ones with hopes one would embrace. One day a man saw her beauty and messaged her just because. Once a catfish now a woman who was at ease with her looks, about to meet a man who desired her for her personality. She wondered if she should get off Twitter, Instagram and Facebook and with one look from this unknown man is all it took. She decided the way to live now was in truth with originality. He was not the man she thought he would turn out to be, he was full of conceited pride and wore too much cologne. Was she just scared of love or too blind to see? Was he really the man to set her lonely heart free? Then he asked for her number to get to know her on the phone. She didn’t like where it was heading so her number was fake, once again, a woman too scared to fall in love with someone new. So instead of getting to know him, his heart she did break, this relationship just wasn’t a chance she wanted to take. The end of the tale is this…into another catfish she easily grew.
