Call Out My Name
I can hear you call out my name but your voice can't be heard Heartbreak plays with your mind, and I'm trying to avoid all this hurt What did I do to deserve all of this pain? Music at full volume because I don't want to hear you call out my name Pillow soaking from tears I cried alone Did you steal my heart or did i allow you inside my home? I'm unsure which, because it all seems a blur One thing about a poet is we always mean our words I told you there's a beauty behind the madness so I took you to kiss land on the weekend You should understand that line because you know I listen to Weeknd when I'm bleeding His music seems more relatable than ever right now I'll find happiness, But I don't want better right now I learned your body functions and took the time to please you Maybe we weren't on the same page, But I still had the mind to read you Did I show too much, Should I have kept my feelings to myself? My bandages ripped, now I'm trying to heal without help I had no right to fall in love with you, I take the blame But you had no right to lead me on and play with my brain We're both at fault, but I'm the only one willing to admit this Girl, Pride is a dangerous thing, but don't call me when you realise I'm who you miss Because I Can't go through this type of hurt again Vodka without a mixer so I feel it more Drinking it straight from the bottle I Don't even want to pour I need to erase these memories I'm tired of hearing you call out my name
