Memory Pac
I wasn’t even cold. I thought for sure, I would be. Imagine 10 years of another person’s memory, coursing through your mind. I never thought this day would come, they’ve been touting it for years. “A complete guide to human understanding” An end to fear and division, even racism. If you literally could know what others have experienced and how they have felt, complete understanding would have to result, wouldn’t it? And all this from just one infusion, a Memory Pac, they call it. Of course, right now, it’s voluntary. I wanted to know why my sister took her life and they were able to salvage enough brain tissue to help me. But it’s coming, mandatory brain harvest at census, stored like a fingerprint of yesteryear. The idea is that war will end when shared experience is uniform. What would there be to fight about. I guess, we’ll see. One day soon.
