War Song
You put down the gun As the last one falls. Nobody runs to your bloody call. The end of the war, It soon draws near. Though, you still have a lot to fear. You’re guilty You’re guilty You’re guilty of your own death. You died alone, But you still walk on. Many of your friends have past since gone. And you think That you’re the only one! Well, fellow, there are many men on the run. You’re guilty You’re guilty You’re guilty of your own death. And you walk on fast And you see your past And you try to live But it just doesn’t seem to last! You continue on Your steady pace, Obliteration of the human race! Your senses seem To have stopped at once. Never in the morning will you see the sun! You’re guilty You’re guilty You’re guilty of your own death You’re guilty of your own death!
