Eye of the Storm
Tumultuous storm brewing overhead. Waking the silence of the once undead. In the air there is quite the chill. Ticking clock on the window sill. Lightening strikes and brightens the sky. Clouds so heavy they begin to cry. Pouring down the unrelenting rain. With an energy level beautifully insane. Rain beating on the panes of glass. Watching and waiting for time to go past. Howling winds they threaten to twist. As they get all caught up in the shrouded mist. Ticking and tocking of that precious clock. When suddenly at the door there is a knock. Startled frozen in the middle of the night. But I thought I saw a shining light. Yonder there it is across the moor. Coming straight for me is the eye of the storm. ©written by Scarlett Sepulvado 3/8/2016
