-god-
One Word #11 Word: God God, Noun, A superhuman spirit or being worshiped as having power over nature or human fortunes. In a world ruled by nothing but fear, And smoke overlapping the air. Screaming out in a world with nothing, Letting out everything that we can’t bear. Humans are living out their lives, Forced to decide where they’ll go. Whether we choose to love or hate, Where the future will lead, we don’t know. People says that it’s a necessity, To love and to breed and repeat. For that’s what the world is about, Where we create and continue to meet. Forgetting about the world around us, Letting go of the bright future; it’s a dream. Just as long as humans live and survive, Without caring of those who can’t scream. Plugging into a dull future, go figure, Let’s continue the game. Where we are nothing but something, And forgetting our name. If one were to try to save this world, Would it even matter in the end? To fix all of our mistakes would be useless, For we’d never learn from a Godsend. Why do all humans believe in a God, When they’re trying to save what’s left now? If we are only going against their wishes, What is the sense of praying to them?
