Proof
I once got on my knees and begged my momma, with tears in my eyes, please get an abortion. I’ma end that thing inside before it even starts living. Then one day my little sister was born, and that’s the greatest gift that’s ever been given. It’s funny when what seems wrong at the time, can come out so right. I thank God every day that she kept that life, because out of her womb my heart was born. Not the one in my chest, but the one that matters more. The one that keeps my soul warm, and puts me back together every time I feel torn. She’s the greatest thing that’s ever happened. period. period. I’m not sure you understand, what it is you’ve been hearing. An angel was born because she denied my cries. I knew that everything happened for a reason that night. When I held her in my arms in that Wick City hospital, my eyes were opened up so I could see the impossible. At that moment life became so much more, how could it not be when things exist this pure? I thought I was diving into hell, but I was handed a piece of heaven. All because my momma wouldn’t listen to my madness, I know she contemplated it, to save me from that man. I just thank God that I can sit here, and write this story in the end.
