. Perhaps nightfall, Is the shadow to sunset Perhaps Light and darkness Are the blind versions of each other. Perhaps death is the membrane between mortal and immortal. Perhaps we could have been more, But, Yesterday, The neon lights felt like sirens, Like life was warning me of something. And, The dreamy feeling after your lips drifted away from mine, Felt like the calm before a storm. I wished to tear my heart out and rip it to shreds just to feel the pleasure you got doing it. I guess I was chained to the pain, Because I always gave you the broken pieces And just like a blackhole, You coughed them up worse. Pain, Is dying with your eyes open. Love, Is living with your eyes closed. And Darling I choose to open my eyes. _love phobic_ Elliepoet™ (2nd n 3rd last lines by kim) ~inspired by @h_arttheband (lovephobic)
