The Disturbed Poetic Mind
Red calligraphy ink splattered across the blank parchment- She was done, done with it all Her own self had taken control- Full of wisdom she waited, shaking intensely The crimson grimaced on the sadistic paper- Knowing she had given up It seemed as if it were chanting at her in a guiltless manner ‘You’re supposed to be sooooo smart’ It mocked, She could not find the vitality to combat the evil force any longer- She collapsed into the musky corner- Knowing she was concealed from the wickedness Then her mind began to race- Who was she anymore? She had turned- Into something almost demonic herself She could not locate the audacity to even face her mirror How would she know- That she was no longer herself? It was that moment that her consciousness escaped, Feeling any relevant thought slip away she whispered- ‘All I wanted was to heal the loneliness, to find a cure.’
