I looked about in great wonder to see, a giraffe looking down, at me, was he. My first thought was to run, to flee, but his smile was so warm and carefree. Tall in spotted coat he gazed down lordly, I asked, “Sir, what brings you here to be?” “I'm traveling about to see the sea, to float freely in a beach side spree. Then stand in water deeper than me, alas, the deepest found only covers my knee.” I told him I knew the path with great glee, “Then join in my travels,” his lordly decree.
