A Letter To God
Every time I pray to you all I hear is my own voice it lead me to believe I was alone with no choice but once I thought about it I realized it was you no doubt about it what did I expect you to sound like a great clashing of thunder with echoing booms that with vibrations would shake a room no of course not for I am in you and you are in me when you speak to me I hear it in my voice for you gave me a voice to begin with I am on loan from you to return to you slightly used and broken but none the less I am all yours I was never alone on all those lonely nights when the despair crept up to choke me you were there watching over me the proof I need is the air I breathe and to your bosom I shall cleave for in one instance I realize that with new eyes I see you everywhere I was never alone it just felt that way for I failed to see what was right in front me all alone.
