Healed
There was a time in my life Filled with hate, filled with stife Felt the weight of the world, let it break my back So I went on the attack, venomous words with no tact I would simply react with no thought but my own A heart turned to stone, I wailed and I moaned Feeling oh so alone, it was me against them My cup runneth over, hot hate to the brim A house of hurt is no home for a soul I dug a grave but didn't even fit in the hole So now at this time in my life I'm blessed with my kids, blessed with a wife I see the world as a whole, i'm glad to be back Running a new course. a positive track My words I use, think through twice, maybe thrice I try to be nice, and hope to entice Others to do the same, this life is a gift Too short for anger and blame, rise and uplift
