Cursed Cause
Burrow burrow down below my stomach churns it's this constant failure that incessantly burns all this pain you inflict and you'll never know Eat me away bone by bone flay my mind leave me behind leave me struggling alone No matter the trial even after all this while every droplet of blood with my face down in the mud to go on I must clutch to denile Cut me gouge me break me again and again stab me deeper as you call me your friend I know that when I finally die this is all I'm going to be It still goes on my heart so withered with love that's gone away into the killing fields this is what sacrifice yields and you'll keep doing this without thinking it's wrong Because this is my curse putting others first to live undeath hurting with each breath and always knowing it will only get worse
