Night Games
City light, moon light mesh together To form a fantasy of color and vibration Dancing off the slick, grey streets casting Diamonds in the air. People shopping, people hopping Cover puddles of rain, laughing and Scurrying to and fro, not going anywhere Important except to nowhere. City smells clash together creating A perfume of excitement and wonder While people trapped in their autos Feel safe from all the joyful turmoil. Solitary streets wait to be discovered. Hidden within adventure and fear of The unknown shops and denizens. Bad boys hiding in the shadows. Marquis signs and popcorn smells Invade our sences to new heights And compel us to come in and See the Best Show Ever! Let's play night time games, let's Do night time things. Remember, Our lives hang in the balance Dangling by a thin silk thread.
