Leave Me Alone To Write My Pain
Leave me alone to cry in the still of the night where rustle of cold waves tickle my cheeks and the darkness of deep forest enchant me to get lost into its solitude I still can read the words of my sorrow and grief written on the face of dark silence for our infinite relationship Leave me alone in the seclusion of dunes of sand golden particles of sand titillate my poetic passion to write a mournful poetry of our broken relation on the vagabond sand waves Leave me alone in the shambles of old memories of our company I collect scattered straws of our ruined relationship to rebuild a new nest but this time only for poetic soul I sketch a portrait of my heartbeats to feel at home in the ruins Leave me alone in a deserted island to write pain of my wounds on the tantalizing scent of washed-up waves I feel millions of grains of sand hot against my fingers and the cool breeze against my face a relief from the sweltering sun. I could hear the sea crawling onto the sand and, further away, the same monster dashing against the rocks (By Kishan Negi)
