Train of Thought
I came across a dwelling in the dark forest, outside there was a rickety wooden fence Ravens perched, evil in their eyes gravest black, as black as night, I must commence, the gate swung back and forth creaking, felt compelled to enter, unknowing the fate that would become of me, fear increasing every step that I took, in an hypnotic state I opened the door, stench of death overcome my senses, the darkness was blinding, silence filled me with immense fear, cold and numb, shaking hands search, then lost my balance, falling onto something quite unimaginable, grotesque thoughts entered my unstable mind, my eyes need to identify, though undesirable reaching for a torch to alleviate the undefined possible realities , horror instilling my whole being not being able to see is unimaginable, an horrific smell encapsulates my nostrils, tinnitus ringing In my ears, Unable to illuminate, I become static, fear of the Unknown had defeated me, escaping from this situation became essential, intimidated by what I hear, feel, smell, curiosity diminishing, retreating was seemingly hampered, aggravated, cold reality overcome me, I tripped which revealed a figure in silhouette dauntingly standing over me, a muffled voice of a man, reality was then revealed, my journey had terminated, I was safe and free the railway conductor said, your at your stop sir, I need to punch your ticket for thee. 01/04/2017.
