In your `now` dream the year flew past at the rate of knots, with all sorts of activities and functions and engagements and business dealings and funerals and and and and and.......................................... Then there is this silence, you can’t help but think: why this silence. The clock radio kicks into action. Immediately you think: I haven’t finished the Christmas shopping, haven’t sent those cards, haven’t wrapped those presents. What will I get for so and so? How will I fit all those Christmas do’s into this time frame............. You realize, this is life, this is how it happens. We need the silence to question, to reflect, on what life is really about. We need this moment, to be in this moment, to live this moment, to appreciate this moment.
