Christmas
Christmas is coming, it will soon be here, Time to get together to share good cheer. Did you put a penny in the old mans hat? Did you ever think to do just that? Your single penny could have made it right, For him to have a meal on Christmas night. Please don't ignore him as you pass by, For it could easily have been you or I. He may look scruffy, shoes down at the heel, You don't know the history or how he may feel. I've worked with the homeless, drug addicts too, Easy to ignore when you have a home to go to. You never know their problems, why they are this way, Just give them a moment, is that too hard today? Don't give money, not wise to pay for booze or dope. Food to eat and a warm drink can also give them hope. Christmas is coming , it will soon be here, Time to get together to share good cheer. Please try to make someone else's Christmas as well.
